Responsibility Selector

Once you have logged on the responsibility selector will be populated.

Responsibility

The Responsibility dropdown list can be used to select the responsibility that you wish to run your Reports Wand reports with.

The number in brackets () indicates the responsibility identifier. This number can be used in a Run Report function to ensure the report always executes with the correct responsibility, or a responsibility different to that currently selected. This allows users to refresh multiple Run Report functions or execute multiple reports using multiple responsibilities.

Link To GL Wand

The Link To GL Wand button only applies when a user has access to both GL Wand and Reports Wand products. Selecting this button will ensure that the Reports Wand responsibilities are directly linked to the GL Wand responsibilities selected. Changing responsibilities in either product will automatically update the other. There is often a need for Reports Wand to operate independently to GL Wand, in which case the button should be deselected. This allows users to have different and relevant responsibilities selected in each product at the same time.
