The custom drilldown column functionality was added to the Wands version 5 to allow customers to expand the drilldown reports to include additional data that is not available in the standard Oracle views that support the drilldown reports. When a custom column is added to a drilldown, the SQL statement for the custom column is merged into the main drilldown query when it is executed. The SQL for custom drilldown columns must be constructed in a very specific way in order to work correctly. Custom drilldown columns can be added to a number of the drilldown reports.
