Angles for Oracle

Licensing

In order for Reports Wand to be used with Angles for Oracle one of the following should be true.

  • The Reports Wand for Angles for Oracle (OEM Edition) has been purchased
  • The Reports Wand for Angles for Oracle Connector has been purchased to allow integration with the full version of Angles for Oracle.

Accessibility

Access Angles for Oracle views (previous NoetixViews) directly from the Create Report Wizard Dialog, there is no need to Import the Report Definitions for NoetixViews, process them or assign them to responsibilities, unless you want to make customizations or add List of Values.

Although Reports Wand Users can see all the Angles views, no data will be returned unless they have the correct responsibilities, and Refresh Security step has been performed.

Characteristics

  • Each Angles view has an associated Business Area and Application making it easier to discover.
  • All Angles views are prefixed with “A4O_”.
  • Value Added views are categorized as Featured views, and therefor, the feature star will be outlined in red.
  • Column label and descriptions can be viewed by clicking on View Detail.

Advanced Search

Users can search for all Angles for Oracle views that have specific columns, or column descriptions by using the Advanced Search. Make sure to first select a Business Area, and then check the “Angles for Oracle Views” checkbox. If not checked, the advanced search will only look through Advanced insights report definitions should they be installed.

Customizations

Reports Wand Report Definitions can be imported from the existing Angles for Oracle views and then processed into Oracle. Users can then access the Angles for Oracle Report Definitions to create their own reports in Excel.
