User Management

The Users icon in the sidebar is only available if you have been assigned Account Manager permissions.
It enables you to view a list of users with Platform accounts and create or edit individual users.

Name	Value	Description
User Roles	Account Manager	Users with the account manager role are able to administer users within the Platform. Additionally they are assigned System Admin permissions in Wands
Products	Wands for SAP	Users can be assigned multiple Insightsoftware products and licenses
Status	Pending, Active, Deactivated	When a user is first added to the Platform their account status is Pending. Once the user has logged on, their status changes to active
Last login	Date and time	The timestamp of when the user last logged onto the Platform

Create Users

To create a new user select the Users icon on the sidebar and click the Create User button. Enter values for First Name, Last Name and Email address of the new user.

When creating a user you can:
1. Grant the user Account Manager permissions
2. Assign the user Designer, Power User or Viewer licenses
3. Optionally send a registration email to the new user once created

Users can also be created by importing a CSV file (exported from SAP) with the required user information. Click on the Import Users button at the top right corner of the User Management page.

Search Users

To search for a user, go to the Search area at top of the Users list and type characters that refer to the user you are looking for. As you type, the Users list starts to narrow down automatically showing matching criteria.

Edit Users

In the Users screen, select the user record by clicking the row with the user name. In addition to being able to update the users details, roles and license assignments the more options icon provides access to additional user actions including deactivating and removing the user.
