Troubleshooting

Please ensure the e4awand_sap_installer.exe for the version you are launching has been previously run on your PC before clicking the launch button. This only needs to be done once. If any authorization messages appear, please request the authorization in the message from your SAP security team. Before launching again, please perform the following steps to resolve any issues:

  1. Close Excel
  2. Open the task manager by using the keys ctrl-alt-del
  3. Click the details tab
  4. Scroll down and look for an Excel.exe or an wands.exe process
  5. Select each process and click the End Task button
  6. Close the task manager
  7. Click the launch button on the SAP GUI Wands launch transaction again
