Import Angles for Oracle Report Definitions to Excel
This option allows the Reports Wand Administrator to import Report Definitions based on the Angles for Oracle (previously NoetixViews) views. Report Definitions can be imported based on an Oracle Application Module or an Angles for Oracle Role.
Specify whether you would like to import the Report Definitions based on the Oracle Applications Module or Angles for Oracle Role.
Options
- Import the Report Definitions with user friendly columns (eg. Chart of Accounts Name) or the standard Angles for Oracle view Column Names (eg. CHART_OF_ACCOUNTS_NAME).
- Select to import a single Report Definition. You are still required to select an Application Module or Angles for Oracle Role to limit the amount of views returned.
- Import any list of values that may exist for the Angles for Oracle view as a filter.
Not all column names can be converted to user friendly names. A$ columns indicate that the column is a preferred column for Drilldowns or Filters.
Select the Oracle Application Module (or Angles for Oracle Role) to start the import. This will import only the Report Definitions related to the selected Module or Role. The Oracle Application Module form is displayed below.
Select Finish to start populating the Reports Wand Administrator Template with the relevant Report Definitions.
Once the Reports Wand Administrator Template has been populated you can assign Request Groups using the the edit wizard, decide which Report Definitions to load and finally process (upload) the Report Definitions into Oracle so that users can access them.
This Angles for Oracle functionality is only enabled under certain conditions. Please refer to the Angles for Oracle section for more information.
