Report Wizard Output
Once you click the Finish button on the Report Wizard dialog, GL Wand will open a new Excel workbook and create a report layout based on the input you provided. You can adjust the values in the header (e.g. Fiscal Year and Accounting Period) to refresh the report with different data. We recommend that you use the ‘Create’ button in the List of Values section of the GL Wand toolbar to add dynamic lists for any cells where they aren’t already set up. This makes selection of parameters easier and reduces the chances of errors when changing the values.
Row and Column Filter parameters will be hidden. To unhide, highlight the rows or columns surrounding the hidden areas, right click the Excel Column or Row heading and select unhide. The ‘Multiply’ column is useful for switching the sign on a row by multiplying by -1. You can also use it to show values in units (e.g. Thousands or Millions).
