Drill Criteria – Journal Extract

The Journal Extract drill criteria sheet allows a user to create an extract of Journals based on the criteria selected.

To create a drill criteria sheet navigate to GL Wand | Execute Drilldown | Drill Criteria, and select Journal Extract from the drop down list. This will create a new drilldown workbook with a criteria form on the first sheet.

Enter the required parameters. At least one value must be specified.

You can enter values manually by typing them in to the field or select them from a list of values where applicable. To use the list of values simply double click the cell or select the applicable cell and click the list of values button on the GL Wand toolbar. The list of values form will open (see the Segment List of Value sections for more details).

Currently you are able to enter a single value for a parameter or you may enter a value with wild card criteria for those parameters that support it e.g. Batch and Journal Name. Ranges and lists of values are not supported for the main journal parameters.

The Date Created and Posted Date parameters do not except a time component and will treat all time specific results as inclusive e.g. a Posted Date To parameter of 01-JAN-2018 will include all results on that day up to and including 01-JAN-2018 23:59:59. The Created By field may be populated with a valid Oracle user name.

Then double click on the Execute Drilldown button to execute the report.
