Budget Report Wizard
The report wizard is useful for building your very first example template from which to learn Budget Wand principles.
The report wizard will create a template report using your Ledger configuration. The report has a standard layout and allows you to specify the following criteria
- The Period to be used for the Budget Template.
- One segment to be used as the “Page” item.
- The relevant segment value to be used for the “Page” item.
- One segment to be used as the “Row” item.
- The Budget Name.
- The Budget Organisation.
Select the template you want to create.
Click Next and populate the parameters.
Click Next to display the instruction message.
Click finish to create your template.
Now that you have generated the report you can extend it to incorporate other values by inserting more rows and copying and pasting the generic Get Balance and Load Budget formulas. You now have the freedom and power of Excel to extend it and modify it as needed.
